Biker Story

(Motor humming)

Fluttering colors in the rear
Solid sound delights your ear
Your heavy metal drifts around
While your footrests kiss the ground
Passing by some cagers quicker
Leave behind the flower picker

(Motor humming)

The president is always heading
And the cops are not upsetting
On the way back from the rallye
Hit the clubhouse round the alley
The day was long and now it ends
A new patched bro is shakig hands

(Solo)

Fluttering colors in the rear
Solid sound delights your ear
Your heavy metal drifts around
while your footrests kiss the ground
The day was long and now it ends
A new patched bro is shakig hands

(Motor humming)

Achims track matched a little bit with "Born to be wild". Although I was riding bikes in my early years, it took me some time to get the feeling back. ... The humming of course is taken from real Harleys.

I still remember with a band contest in a village disco that my former band "Aphalt" was taking part in back in 1981. We were playing our own New Wave songs whereas our rival was hammering out AC/DC covers. Of course we lost and they won. For many years I couldn't listen to AD/CD without remembering our rivals and feeling bitter. But finally a couple of years ago I managed to put down my hatred and even to write a couple of songs reminding of the ancient rock kangoos. Originally my recording of "Biker Story" was much slower - too slow, according to Jo. So he stepped on the gas with his smart music software. Therefore now the guitar solo sounds like Angus Young playing on speed.        Achim
