Sometimes I'm walking on my road Wondering what's fortune owed We don't know what the future brings We're just arranging short term things Like if some record label Finds out that I'm quite able I'd become a superstar Admired by my fans near and far But I guess you will agree Famous I will never be Fortune makes some guys lucky But for me it could be very mucky Like if one fine day I'll get struck by an alien ray And through the porthole of their spaceship Our earth gets smaller bit by bit (Solo) More likely I'll be proving That everything keeps moving And even on a sunny day The world's not spinning round my way What ever happens to my life I'll stick it out with you my wife I'll have a hand in what I can And all the rest is given then All the rest is given then

I wrote this text for Achim when he was seriously sick.
Jo
This melody came on me when I was strumming around on my guitar. Jo's funny and reflective lyrics have touched me deep inside strongly. Thanks to him this song became one of my three favourites on this album. Originally I was playing another one of my old school guitar solos, but then Bernie played keyboard in that same part so masterfully that we decided to put the spotlight on him and to delete the guitar.
